A TOTAL OF 260 ATTORNEYS gathered at the 2017 ELFA Legal Forum, May 7–9 at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida, for the latest information on legal issues impacting the equipment leasing and finance industry. More than 25 sessions focused on a wide range of hot topics and key market segments, including cybersecurity, the digital transformation of equipment financing and managed/bundled equipment financing. The agenda also featured a Women in Leasing reception. Legal Committee Chair Allan Umans, ELFA Chairman Tony Cracchiolo and ELFA President and CEO Ralph Petta presented the Edward A. Groobert Award for Legal Excellence to Barry Marks, founding shareholder of Marks & Associates.
MORE THAN 140 SENIOR CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS EXECS convened in Baltimore, June 4–6, for the ELFA Credit and Collections Management Conference & Exhibition. The theme of the conference was “Shift Happens: Navigating the Future.” Attendees got up-to-speed on the latest industry strategies, trends and forecasts in credit and collections. Additionally, they enjoyed multiple opportunities to network and discuss industry best practices. Six companies exhibited, showcasing a variety of business solutions. The event was organized by the Credit & Collections Planning Committee under the leadership of Michael Mount of U.S. Bank Equipment Finance.
