LEADERSHIP 2016 Anthony Cracchiolo Chairman-Elect Cracchiolo is President & CEO of U.S. Bank Equipment Finance. He joined the company in March 2007. He leads and oversees all operations of U.S. Bank Equipment Finance, which is composed of nine business units, delivering products and services through both direct and vendor channels. The direct businesses include capital equipment, small business, technology finance, government leasing and finance. The vendor channel businesses include office equipment, healthcare, manufacturing and technology, as well as the division’s syndications group. Previous to joining U.S. Bank, he held the position of Managing Director of CitiCapital Vendor Finance for Business Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management science, computer science and mathematics from City University of New York and a master’s degree in computer science from New York Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan Executive Program. William Besgen Director Besgen is Vice Chairman, Board of Directors of Hitachi Capital America Corp. and President & CEO for the wholly owned subsidiary Hitachi Capital Canada Corp. He joined HCAC as its Chief Operating Officer when it was started in 1990. Prior to that, he worked for Citicorp in a number of senior management positions, primarily in their equipment leasing and finance businesses. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University and an MBA in finance and marketing from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell. Having completed a full term on the ELFA Board, he is being nominated for a one-year term to fill a vacancy. Michael Campbell Director Michael Campbell is CEO at International Decision Systems. He joined IDS in January 2011, bringing 27 years of software development and technology experience. Previously, Campbell was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Fair Isaac, where he led global sales, strategic partnerships and professional services and played a key role in directing product strategy. Prior to Fair Isaac, in 1989 he founded Campbell Software, which was twice recognized by Inc. magazine for company growth. He led his organization through its acquisition by SAP in 1999 and assumed senior roles within SAP through to 2001, when he became a Senior Vice President and General Manager of SAP America. Campbell has a B.S. in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Purdue University. Aylin Cankardes Director Cankardes is the Founder and President of Rockwell Financial Group, an independent finance company serving both the leasing and renewable energy sectors. Prior to Rockwell, Cankardes was the President of Southern Pacific BanCapital. She also held a number of senior management positions at Capital Associates International and Finalco. She recently served as a Trustee of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, where she was involved in the Nominating, Devel-opment and Marketing Committees. Prior to being elected as a Trustee, she served as a Director of the ELFA Board and was a key member of the Transition & Succession Team and Chair of the Code of Fair Business Practices Committee. Cankardes received a B.S. in international finance with a double major in economics from George Mason University.
